3rd Halton Collision Reporting Center Opens
Accident Support Services International Ltd. is pleased to announce the opening of our third Collision Reporting Center in partnership with the Halton Regional Police Service.
Our newest Ontario CRC is located at 3800 Constable Henshaw Blvd. (formerly Southampton Blvd.) inside the District 3 Police station in Burlington. The Halton West CRC is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
While Halton Police will continue to attend on-scene collisions involving injury, criminal activity or damage to public property, citizens now have the opportunity to personally report their collisions in the comfort and safety of one of our three Halton Centers. Our staff will assist in completion of the collision reports, offer drivers the opportunity to contact their insurers or family from our telephones, photograph vehicle damage and then forward completed reports to insurers with the approval of the vehicle driver. Citizens are provided with one-stop service for their reporting needs, with Police personnel on site to assist as needed. There is no cost to the Police or the public for our services, as supporting insurance companies fund our programs.
ASSI programs free up Police officers to attend to higher priority calls for service and engage in more proactive traffic enforcement, ensuring safer communities. ASSI thanks Chief Tanner, the HRPS and Halton Regional Police Services Board for their ongoing confidence in our system and services.
