Accident Support Services International Ltd. (ASSI) continues to support police services of all sizes with practical, cost-effective collision reporting solutions.

Three Nova Scotia police services, Stellarton Police Service, Amherst Police Service, and Kentville Police Service, have recently implemented ASSI’s Collision Reporting and Occurrence Management Solution (CROMS) as their primary collision reporting application and joined the Collision Reporting Centre (CRC) Program as partner services.

These partnerships are particularly valuable for smaller police agencies where collision volumes may not justify a physical Collision Reporting Centre, yet the benefits of modern reporting tools remain essential.

With CROMS, officers can complete collision and occurrence reports quickly and accurately from their cruisers through a simple, web-based platform. This improves operational efficiency while significantly reducing administrative workload.

CROMS provides consistent data collection, secure information sharing with insurance partners, and remains a no-cost solution for participating police services. Most importantly, it allows officers to spend less time on paperwork and more time serving their communities.

The successful adoption of CROMS by Stellarton, Amherst, and Kentville highlights the flexibility of the CRC partnership model and its ability to meet the unique needs of individual communities.
